1998 Rover Mini Cooper
1,3Mpi 14,000 miles SOLD
What a story we have here at 10k Classics. This wonderful design icon comes in the coolest colour combo of BRG with white roof and stripes. The car was purchased from London’s Park Lane Rover garage in November 1998. Bought by a city socialite and musician, she divided her time between London and New York and so listed the keeper as her chauffeur.
According to the original new vehicle order sheet, purchased options included interior walnut extras, factory sports pack, wavy grill slats, alloy gear knob and accessory pack as well as pearlescent paint. All these are still retained on the car today!
Used sparingly and following a transfer back into the ladies name, in 2003 it was acquired by the 3rd registered keeper who barely used the Mini, save for weekend runs around Leicester square and the odd sortie to Brighton. Always cherished, the car has benefited from services throughout its life and recent work by a renowned mini specialist where the common baulk ring faults have been dealt with, together with all the other MOT advisories at no expense spared. The Mini drives unbelievably well and has all original panels with no aftermarket modifications, even down to the very rare Unipart exhaust.
After 21 years of life in London we now offer out this very rare survivor for somebody to own and enjoy, hopefully on the country lanes it craves for. We at 10k Classics know and love our Mini’s, and we all agree this is the very best example we have had the pleasure of marketing.
The car will come with a full 12 month MOT and our hearty congratulations for acquiring a fantastic investment and 4 wheels of pure and simple fun. It’s gold for your garage, but much nicer to look at!
